As November sets in with its crisp days and early nights, it’s a natural moment to pause, reflect, and reconnect before the end-of-year festivities take over. This month gives us space to appreciate the quieter joys, from leaf-kicking in wellies and splashing in puddles to cosy fires and fireworks that light up the sky.
This November, we’re incredibly grateful for our team members who make Sarum Physio feel like a community. Nem Wells, our dedicated Neurological Specialist Physiotherapist, has been settling in wonderfully. Her passion for inspiring and motivating patients is genuinely heartwarming. With her support, patients are embracing our new addition to the gym—a bike that’s already become a source of motivation for many. (Though a few of us might give it a wide berth, Nem’s patients are raring to give it a go!)
We’re also lucky to have physiotherapist Richard, an expert in musculoskeletal care and an enormous rugby enthusiast, who’s here to support our active clients. He brings a wealth of knowledge, especially for those tackling sports injuries as the rugby season intensifies. At Sarum, we have a fabulous team of physios, each with their own area of interest, along with our resident acupuncturist, Dr Katie Greener. Throw in our incredible masseur, Gaby, and we really do take care of you from top to toe.
Talking of toes.
As the party season approaches, remember to look after your feet! Chiropodist Susan is here to keep your feet healthy and happy as we head into the festive season. Whether preparing for a night out or simply ensuring comfort in the colder months, taking care of your feet is essential. Learn more about the incredible benefits of chiropractic care here.
With the holiday season approaching, it’s easy to put off health goals and think, “I’ll start in the new year.” But why wait? Addressing those aches, niggles, or pains now can make getting back into fitness far easier. Physiotherapy can help you overcome the physical barriers that have held you back, whether it’s joint pain, stiffness, or lingering discomfort. Starting your journey to better health now sets you up for success and a stronger start to the new year.
Remember, physiotherapy isn’t just for November (or Christmas).
It’s a year-round path to maintaining health, mobility, and vitality. Regular physiotherapy can make everyday activities easier, from easing joint pain to improving flexibility and even improving your golf swing! By staying proactive about your physical health, you’re investing in more comfort, confidence, and freedom all year round.
Finally, you don’t need a referral to see us at Sarum Physio. If you’re ready to take the first step toward better health, call us at 01722 415 055. Our team is here to help you every step of the way.
November and the Autumn season remind us to breathe, stay active, and appreciate the little moments. Let’s step into winter with gratitude and readiness!
Oh, in case you are wondering how I will embrace this month. I am flying to the States again to meet the latest addition to our family, my sixth grandchild and new granddaughter, who will remind me how wonderful life is. Her brother will remind me how incredible our bodies are, how much they can do, and how fast they learn. Happy November.
