About us and how it started.

On a snowy morning in February back in 1994, a new private clinic opened its doors in Salisbury. Two physios and one dream, and on that day, two patients received treatment from one physio. Whilst the other sat hopefully by the telephone, waiting for it to ring!

For Jenny Mears and Juliet Rogers, opening Sarum Physiotherapy fulfilled their long-held ambition of running their own practice. Having met at the local squash club “Moonrakers” and encouraged by several club members who longed for a good physiotherapy and sports injuries clinic in Salisbury. They found the site on Devizes Road.

Izzy Howse was the next to join the happy band. A physio and an old colleague of Jenny’s. She stayed with the practice for more than twenty years. After that, Georgie Duff and Colin Campbell followed and have been with the Sarum team for over ten years!

About us and what it looks like today.

The practice now has a fabulous team of nine physiotherapists, each with a specialist area of clinical expertise. From Pilates to Biomechanics, the team has blossomed and expanded.

With five consulting rooms and a larger rehabilitation area, all fully-equipped with the latest treatment technology. Patients with all kinds of complaints are treated, including those with back and neck problems, muscle and joint disorders, arthritis, RSI. Plus, older people with longer-term mobility problems.

In addition, the treatment of sports injuries is a significant part of the practice and is one of Jenny’s interests.

Patients and customers at Sarum Physio can today access effective treatments. Including Physiotherapy, the Sports Injury Clinic, Chiropody, Lower Limb Biomechanics and Orthotics Clinic, Massage, Pilates, Trichology and Manual Lymphatic Drainage.

The Centre is easily accessible with its own off-road parking and disabled access. And offers daytime, evening and some Saturday appointments available.
