JO MARKS
MCSP Physiotherapist

Jo Marks graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Coventry University in 1997. She went on to complete an MSc in Physiotherapy to deepen her clinical expertise. Since then, she has built an extensive career within the NHS, where she now works as a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.

Specialising in the assessment and treatment of shoulder conditions. Jo brings that same level of expertise to a wide range of musculoskeletal problems, from everyday aches and strains to more complex, long-standing issues. Alongside her core physiotherapy training, she holds additional qualifications in acupuncture and Pilates. Enabling her to offer a well-rounded, evidence-based approach to rehabilitation, one that treats not just the injury but the person as a whole.

She has a particular passion for helping people recover from sports injuries. Helping patients get back to doing the activities they love, whether that’s returning to a running club, getting back on the pitch, or simply moving without pain again.

Outside of the clinic, Jo practises what she preaches. She’s a keen runner and a regular at the gym, and that firsthand understanding of what it takes to train and compete feeds directly into her work.
