You may be aware that our Jenny (Mears) is an avid cyclist, and she is very excited about Bike Week (10 to 18 June).

A week to show how cycling can easily be part of everyday life and is for everyone! Whether you are cycling for pleasure or racing, you can register here.

Cycling is a great mode of transport but equally, you can cycle with family and friends just for fun.

The benefits include:

1. Reduced stress levels

2. Chiselled legs

3. Increased muscle tone and

4. Reduced risk of diabetes and high blood pressure

Add to this no parking charges, good for the environment, and you get to see the world from a different perspective. What’s not to love, a bike runs on fat not fuel, so kind to the pocket and the body!

If you follow us on Facebook you will also know that Jenny recently spent time in the Pyrenees with the Help For Heroes Cycling team. The eight wounded, injured and sick veterans and service personnel were training for the world’s toughest endurance cycling event, the epic 3,081 mile Race Across America (RAAM). An inspiring team who are competing in this able-bodied race – if they can do it so can you, well not cycle across America obviously!

We can’t help getting your bike ready for action but we can help you get bike fit. Offering a body MOT, training programmes and tips, advice on shoes and equipment, and of course that all-important cycling posture.

Want to get on your bike, are worried about an old injury or just want to be body ready? Book in today!
