Georgie qualified from The Royal London Hospital in 1975. She did various placements before specialising in Orthopaedics, travelling to Australia to perfect the then new Maitlands Mobilisations for spinal and joint conditions. On her return, she worked at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital working and lecturing alongside the top surgeons. In 1983, she opened a private practice in Harley Street, where she was able to treat more sports injuries and develop her interest in acupuncture. Georgie moved to Salisbury in 2003, joining the lively team at Sarum Physiotherapy.
